30.10.

I am majorly missing the fact that Australia doesn't really celebrate Halloween! I grew up in Scotland (where Halloween originated - not America) so we used to put so much effort dressing up to go guising ('trick-or-treating') and perform for every house in the neighborhood. I wish I had friends that would happily go to a decent dress up party with me. I think there are a few clubs in Melbourne doing something tomorrow night but I doubt many people will really make the effort.

Apparently Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom are hosting a Halloween party that will rival Heidi Klum's annual party, so I'm sure both will have an amazing guest list. I can't wait to see what all of the guests dress up as!

For everyone who is lucky enough to be in the northern hemisphere Happy Halloween!!!

29.10.

I have been feeling very 'girlie' as of late, which is just so not me. I think getting excited about my end of year trip to Paris is doing it to me. I came across the top image of the key chain randomly on Tumblr, and after doing some research (a.k.a. 'Googling' it), I found out that Laduree is a chain of macaroon cafes around Paris. Their website is super cute! The keychains retail for around $100 - $150 I believe, but the cafe's look divine so I am definitely putting that on my 'to-do' list. Depending on how crazy I go at the shops in London, I might end my holiday with one of those dangling on the end of my keys. I think that little macron stack may be just too cute to resist!

Ultimate List: #2 Classic Watch

I had a post on "Classic Watches" in my edit list for a while now and was waiting for find a few more examples before I was going to post it. This Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch was one of the ones I had already found, and then low and behold, my parents gave it to me as a graduation present! I am one lucky girl! I have hardly taken it off my wrist since I got it and will definitely be wearing it for a long time to come.  The funny thing is that I almost bought a watch on Shopbop.com when the 20% sale was on, but now I am so glad I didn't. This one is a lot more understated and wearable.

26.10.

Sorry for being so MIA. I have had the busiest two weeks, including my family visiting from Paris and my graduation. Plus, so few things are inspiring me at the moment. You could say I am in a bit of a rut. Back to normal soon.

Olivia Palermo Blog

As many of you are probably aware, Oliviapalermo.com is up and running. Its actually not bad and lets face it, even if it was terrible, I'd still read it. There is one thing about it that I just can't quite put my finger on, perhaps the writing seems a little.. contrived? Apparently there are other contributing writers though, its not just all Olivia... but I just keep remembering that episode of The City where Olivia and Whitney have to do that presentation at DVF and Olivia chokes. I literally read her blog with that voice inside of my head. Although to be honest, if I have heard a bloggers voice before then I can't help but read their blog with their voice narrating it all inside my head. Is that weird? Anyways, the main point is that her style is awesome and therefore this is another excuse to post a million photos of her - enjoy!

12.10

Despite still lusting over the Givenchy Nightingale and Hansbury bags, I have realised that the issue I have with my current black bag is that it is just too big. I am starting to veer towards smaller bags now and I am looking for one with just enough room to put my phone, wallet, a little make up, diary and a small book. The Celine Micro looks like it might be just the perfect size for the job! Although I love this orange shade, for the amount of money I'd be spending I'd need to get the black colour. Luckily Paris is last on my Europe itinerary, so if I manage to be careful with my money and not go too insane at All Saints in London then I might be tempted to bring one of these home with me!
